Ceremony of Hong Kong-Japan Cultural & Educational Exchange Foundation

Hong Kong-Japan Cultural & Educational Exchange Foundation was established in June 1995. It aims to strengthen further partnership between Hong Kong and Japanese, and it promotes not only economic but cultural and educational relationship between the two countries. The foundation also makes a contribution to the society of Hong Kong.

It supports the scholarship system for exchange students to Japan by The Japan Society of Hong Kong, and cosponsors the “Japanese Speech Contest” which is organized by The Japan Society of Hong Kong and the Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong.



The 8th Hong Kong Middle and High School Japanese Speech Contest 

【Purpose】

1) To provide the scholarship for students who would be a good bridge between Japan and Hong Kong through the learning Japanese and understanding of Japan, to learn Japanese language in Japan. 

2) To support the events and activities which introduce Japanese Culture and Sports to Hong Kong. 

3) To support the events and activities which introduce Hong Kong Culture and Sports to Japan.

4) To support the events of Hong Kong-Japan Cultural & Educational Exchange and other activities.


【Main Activities

1) Donate “Scholarship” to The Japan Society of Hong Kong

2) Sponsorship of “Japanese Speech Contest” organized by The Japan Society of Hong Kong.

3) Sponsorship of “Hong Kong Middle and High School Students Japanese Speech Contest” organized by the Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong.
